Easy Easter Bark

The reason I call myself the Mix and Match Mama is because I don't want to spend my time learning new recipes...I just want to master a few tried and true methods and then recreate them for different occasions.  Making candy and bark with your family should be fun, not stressful!  So, I always use this same easy method and just change it up for the occasion.

Easter Bark is now a staple at our house each spring.

Shopping List
1 package white-chocolate candy coating
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup Easter M&Ms
Easter Sprinkles
Jelly Beans

In a microwavable bowl, melt white-chocolate coating (stopping to stir every 45 seconds). Once melted, pour over a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.  Immediately, top with coconut, M&Ms, sprinkles and jelly beans and slightly press into chocolate. Refrigerate at least one hour. Pull from fridge, break into pieces with your hands. Done!

How happy does that make you?  I mean...really?!  It makes me so stinkin' happy!

Your little bunnies will love it!

I was at the grocery store this morning buying the ingredients for the Peeps smores and I see a sign that says Sean Lowe will be in Richmond, VA - where I live - at the Southern Women's Show in April. I almost dropped my Peeps!! Immediately, I texted my BFFs and we are going. Well, after we arrange for our husbands to watch our kids that day, then we are going! Hopefully our husbands will be convinced that we are just going to the show for the fashion, health, beauty, food, and shopping. Of course, we love that stuff too! But we are Bachelor junkies!

So cute! I love Easter treats because they are so fun looking. :) I found a recipe that I think I'm going to try, it's like brownies with melted peeps on top and Easter candy on top of that! I think I'll sub the candy for Easter sprinkles, but I'm excited to try it. :)
